Italian Designer For The Alabama Car Plant
Benjamin Yeung, a former Chinese car maker will cooperate with Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro to build a hybrid car assembly plant in Alabama.They have signed an engineering and design agreement when a ceremony in Alabama's capital. The design would be popular with young people and sports car enthusiasts, Lt. Gov. Jim Folsom Jr. predicted.
Yeung and Giugiaro introduced one of their works a silver concept vehicle that looked like a race car for road races. The car designed with windshield, roof and side windows made in one piece look great. The car also hinged to the front and have three seaters car with the driver in the middle of the seat. They also unveiled company executives cars with interior design that resembles the cockpit. The company plans for the hybrid car to use batteries, gasoline, ethanol or compressed natural gas.
